How to set up your EscapeSIM on iPhone and Android

From the Home screen, tap on settings

From here, tap on Mobile

Then Add eSIM

Tap on Use QR Code

Scan the QR code that you recieved via email, you may have to send the code to another device in order to take a photo of it, at this time iPhones can't natively scan QR codes from saved images on the device

You should see the description of the chosen eSIM provider, tap on Continue to get the process started

Check out the button down the bottom as it will give you an update on the progress

Once everything is complete, tap Done

Here you can set the default line for phone calls and standard SMS, we recommend to set this to your new eSIM in order to stop expensive roaming charges from your existing provider

Again this option is up to you, we recommend to set this to your new eSIM

This is where you set default data, set your eSIM as the default here

Open up your new eSIM settings and make sure that Data Roaming is enabled, make a point to check that your Data Roaming is disabled on your existing service

Swipe down from the top of your phone and tap on Settings

From here tap on Connections

Then Add eSIM

Tap on Add eSIM

Tap on Scan QR code

Check out the progress bar down the bottom as it will give you an update on where it's at

Once everything is complete, you should now be back into Conections or SIM manager, if you're not please go there now

Here you can set the default line, we recommend to turn off your existing SIM and set this to your new eSIM in order to stop expensive roaming charges from your existing provider

Go back into Settings > Connections, tap into Mobile Networks and make sure Data roaming is enabled
